What This Yoga Teacher Training Covers:

This training is designed for all people wanting to deepen their experience around yoga through a vinyasa-based practice weaved with yoga, Ayurveda, and energy medicine.

Technique, Training, Practice

Learn how to sequence a balanced class to achieve a particular effect safely and level of class using asana, breath work, meditation and subtle energy.

Learn variations of sun salutations, standing, seated, arm balances, inversions, restorative postures, and an in-depth lecture and experience on savasana through the Tibetan Buddhist approach.

Receive a deep understanding of breathing techniques, chakras, koshas, prana vayus, mantras, Reiki, yoga nidra, and other forms of energy medicine.

Anatomy & Physiology

Understand the biomechanics of the skeletal system (bones, joints, muscles) and how it is involved in poses.

Be able to safely teach a class understanding contraindications, misalignments, adaptations, and pregnancy

Support the nervous, cadiovascular, endocrine, respiratory and digestive systems as they relate to yoga and Ayurveda.

30+ hours

Yoga Humanities

Grasp the foundation of yoga history, philosophy and ethics through the lens of Tantra yoga and the Vedic teachings.

Take time for self-reflection, become familiar with major yogic texts, understand basics of Sanskrit, and experience Bhakti yoga through chanting and kirtan.

Develop awareness of the Yoga Sutras, ethical commitments, and responsibility of ethics to increase equity in yoga.

30 + hours

Professional Essentials

Develop a strong teaching skills to be able to guide a well-rounded practice – including sequencing, pace, cueing, and class management.

You will have the tools to begin a business, ways to expand your education, receive marketing support and other business elements.

Develop confidence and real life experiences by teaching with your YTT peers regularly and to our students in the Asana studio for your final teach out.

Bonus Material

Ayurveda Foundations
Build a strong foundational understanding of feminine-form Ayurveda for your own life and how to integrate it in a class. As the grandmother medicine of yoga, you will be able to prescribe poses for doshic (body constitution type) imbalances, pre- and post-natal support, and discern how the three main doshas present themselves in students and seasons.

Reiki Level 1 Certification
You will have the option to become a certified Reiki 1 energy healer. This includes one separate day for those wanting to deepen their intuition, energy healing for themselves in level one. These certifications are offered at a discounted rate for YTT students and will also be open to the public – a perfect time to bring in a friend or loved one to do this together.

Tantra teaches us to lean toward the uncomfortable. TBH, that’s what our theme for 2024 feels like already for us personally. So, my friend, if you feel nervous, intimidated, or judged if you were to do this – this might just be the cue to get you out of that resistance. Lean into it.

$3,200

Standard Tuition

Payment Plans: $575 for 6 months or $1,100 for 3 months
$500 non-refundable application deposit applied toward tuition

If you are struggling with the financial commitment, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We have some funding available for scholarships.

The Schedule

Sessions are in-person at the Asana studio in Klamath Falls – All sessions will also be held live via zoom when you are not able to attend in person.

Your total commitment for three months is about 10-20 hours per week. 100% attendance is required to graduate. Makeup sessions can be scheduled one-on-one with one of the lead teachers for a discounted rate of $75/hour.

We begin on the Spring Equinox.

This training is designed to be accessible, challenging, and life-changing. The Mahasana 200hr YTT gives you the opportunity to grow and get the most benefit out of the program.


Wednesday & Fridays | 4:30pm – 8:30pm (includes light dinner)

  • March 20 (orientation + opening ceremony), 22.
  • April 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26.
  • May 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31.
  • June 12, 14, 26, 28. We will have the first and third week of June off.

Every Other Saturday | 7:30am – 4:30pm (includes breakfast + lunch)

Daily | Commit to a daily (or at least 5x per week) yoga practice

Homework | Includes reading & studying outside the hours above

Anna Keppen

MFT-A LMT RYT-500

Anna is from the Klamath Falls, Oregon and has dedicated her life to working with plant medicine and holistic health. Anna graduated with her undergraduate in a Native American studies and Health Education at Southern Oregon University (SOU) in 2014. Directly after her time at SOU at the age of 21, Anna traveled to the Amazon jungle of Peru to begin her work and studies with a Shipibo tribe and Ayahuasca.

In 2023 Anna completed a three year graduate level clinical therapy program in Oregon with the intention to pursue work in legal psychedelic assisted therapy in the state of Oregon. Anna is a passionate musician and a joyful facilitator of plant medicine. Anna is also a practicing yoga instructor (RYT-500) and shares her yoga as an active part of her life work and practice.

Lisa Chancellor

Kundalini Teacher

Lisa Chancellor (Devi Seetal) fell in love with Kundalini Yoga after finding her teacher, Guru Jagat in 2019. Captivated by the philosophy, she began a daily practice and found it to be profoundly transformative. Lisa is honored to be presenting these teachings at Asana.

Rachel Scott

E-RYT 500, LMT, MFA, MS

An anatomy nerd, Rachel is also a licensed massage therapist and has spent hundreds of hours in the cadaver lab. She combines her extensive academic training as an educator (M.Sci Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies, BA Columbia University) with her cumulative experience as a trainer, yoga teacher, and mentor in order to build a robust and transformational program for students around the world.
